National recognition for UPSA’s French pharmaceutical expertise
During the live broadcast of the BFM Business Grand Prix for Mid-Sized Companies (ETI) on September 11, and in partnership with Banque Palatine, UPSA was awarded the 2023 prize in the “Made In France” category.
This award, which honors mid-sized companies exemplifying French industrial know-how, is a true recognition of the daily commitment of UPSA’s 1,700 employees, especially the 1,500 based in Agen, who have been specialists in paracetamol-based medicine production for 87 years.
Local production, long-term commitment
According to Laure Lechertier, Director of Internal and External Affairs and CSR at UPSA:
We are deeply honored that our daily commitment to manufacturing our medicines exclusively at our two production sites in Agen has been recognized. From the very beginning, we made the choice to produce in France, which allows us to remain agile and ensure the availability of our essential medicines for the health of the French population.
