This distinction confirms that 100% of UPSA medicines are manufactured in France, making the laboratory the first pharmaceutical player whose entire production intended for the French market is carried out on national soil.

In a context where the label “Made in France” can sometimes be misleading, UPSA chooses verified transparency. Origine France Garantie is not a promise; it is proof.

While only 30% of the medicines consumed in France are still produced locally, UPSA is making a clear and lasting commitment: to manufacture 100% of its medicines for France in France, thereby ensuring safety, traceability, and quality for patients.

A demanding and recognized label

The Origine France Garantie certification is now officially recognized as a demanding label for products made in France.

To be eligible, a product must:

• Acquire its essential characteristics in France (formulation, manufacturing, quality control, packaging);
• Generate at least 50% of its added value in France. For UPSA, this share reaches an average of 75%.

This certification is based on an independent audit renewed every year, ensuring the rigor and transparency of the process.
